At TeaCanvas, my passion for tea extends beyond the cup and into the realm of art. Integrating my artwork into the website has been a challenging but exciting journey. Initially, I tried incorporating tea-themed art, but it felt too limiting, not truly capturing my creative vision. Recently, I've been exploring using tea itself as a medium – creating watercolor pigments (tea tannin) and making paper from tea leaf fiber, both are laborious process of boiling and filtering. While commercializing the processes presents its own set of difficulties, the unique and unpredictable results are incredibly rewarding. My goal is for TeaCanvas to represent a harmonious and holistic experience, where tea, art, and self-care intertwine. This artistic exploration is both the most exciting and challenging aspect of TeaCanvas, a journey of discovery that I invite you to share with me.
