Puerh tea is known to be originated in "Yunnan province" of China during the era of the"Eastern Han Dynasty". Compared to other tea types, this tea is a very special kind and is often referred to as post-fermented tea, due to its very special way of manufacturing. In the post-fermentation phase, the rolled and dried tea leaves are allowed to go through microbial fermentation process causing the tea leaves to change the color and the flavor.
